As part of Wong and Meas Restaurant Co.,Ltd's central production kitchen toward HACCP certification, we carried out hand swab testing with our team working in food production. This simple verification step supports a bigger goal: building a culture where hygiene is consistent, measurable, and continuously improved.

Why hand swab testing matters for food safety
Hand swab testing is important because it:
Verifies handwashing and hygiene controls by checking whether hygiene practices are working as intended.
Helps detect contamination risks early, before they become a wider issue in the production process.
Protects food safety by reducing the chance of transferring harmful microbes from our food production team’s hands to food and food-contact surfaces.

How this supports HACCP readiness
HACCP is built on identifying risks and putting controls in place. Verification activities like hand swab testing help confirm that controls are effective in day-to-day operations.
Our commitment
We are committed to strengthening hygiene practices and maintaining a safe food environment for our customers and our team.
