Poon Choy (盆菜) is a traditional Cantonese festive dish served during Chinese New Year. It's a luxurious casserole consisting of multiple layers of premium ingredients, all carefully arranged in a large pot. The ingredients are layered with the most prestigious items on top, symbolizing abundance and prosperity for the new year.
